At WESTERN BEAUTY INSTITUTE, our primary objective is to offer training that prepares each student in acquiring the knowledge and skills necessary to pass the Board of Barbering/Cosmetology Exams. In the process, our secondary objective is to maximize the development and personal growth of each student as a total person, to help each student discover his/her potential, and ultimately function as a cosmetology entrepreneur and/or future teacher. Our prime vocational objective is to train and produce graduates with sufficient knowledge to seek and find employment. Every student should thus be able to function effectively in one of the many specialty areas such as: Hair Stylist, Barber, Hair Colorist, Manicurist, Make-up Artist,Beauty Salon or Barber Salon Operator. Normal progression should move him or her to positions such as Beauty Salon Manager, Beauty Salon or Barber Salon Owner, Cosmetology or Barber Instructor, Supervisor, Director or School Owner.
